Remmy was bred by Jim Babcock and raised by our good friends at Sperry Horses!
Remmy is kind of a special mare to us here at Pillars Ranch. She is a 3/4 sister to Wyatts really good horse, Poncho that Steve Orth and Wyatt showed in the heeling. Poncho is also a point earner in the Working Cow Horse. Remmy herself had been a wonderful rope and ranch horse back in her younger days. Since then she has had many foals, some of which I have started or rode myself before I had even met Wyatt. it was a big surprise to later realize that she was a sister to Poncho. Since then we have tried every year to get a foal of hers with no luck. Finally this year we were able to buy both her and (Penny) the foal at her side by Sperrys wonderful Rainin Whiskey. Which i have also rode and roped off of, along with MANY of his foals. we are excited to have them both in our broodmare string. Remmy came to us bred to another Sperry stud, Little Cat N Boon. I have not personally rode anything by him although we have heard many good things about them!
